i know dah lapuk pun kenduri saya, tapi semalam teringat balik.

acaii dah release few photos from the wedding, and here are some of my favorites. some of my besties came to my side of kenduri, and some came to partner's kenduri. so another set coming dengan baju purple pulak. you can view more photos at acaii's blog. 

seriously, i must must must recommend acaii to any b2b out there, affordable and most importantly acaii sangat friendly and memang senang nak bekerja dengan dia. banyak idea yang acaii kasi, and memang boleh sembang macam kawan lama walaupun baru jumpa pagi tu je pun. wife acaii, fiza pun setia je menunggu kitorang walaupun sampai ke petang.

taken few days before the big day. took us so many times to actually get to sit together and chat. ini pun masa terhad sangat sangat. love you ladies :)

on weekends...

we traveled to melaka on friday to attend my bestie's wedding on the next day, reason being was so that we'll be able to go back to shah alam to attend another close friend of mine, girl's wedding and to marina's dania aqiqah. (phew~*) but then, man proposes God disposes. we only attended one of the event. awal pagi tu sempat jalan-jalan sekejap around our hotel area, but tak tahan.. it was seriously seriously hot.

 

with my primary & high school sweethearts, we knew each other since we were 11 and still standing strong. after this will be mashe's turn in ipoh, a week after my trip.

munirah the lovely bride, please ignore the rest of us. cuaca sangat panas and semuanya comot belaka. i love everything bout munirah's wedding. the food memang terbaik, reminds me of opy's wedding. and nirah's make-up pun cantik. okay, i just love weddings & pretty brides. mana ada wedding yang tak lovely?

i wore a hand sewn kaftan made by my sister. flowy sangat, super love! :)

of pirates

we got the chance to watch pirates of the caribbean (on stranger tides) last week. of all four, i think this one is a bit slow i got so bored waiting for them to actually get to the fountain. the only part that caught my eyes was the mermaid (lots of mermaids) part. or any scene with the mermaids in it. :) they are so so pretty! 

tu saja yang menarik, yang lain biasa je even though my companion said the movie was nice. i still prefer fast5.

as we had quite a horrible experience masa tu.

as we changed the nikah time, acaii could not make it to the nikah session

so, guna mana-mana camera yang ada saja

diy boutonnieres

it's been a while since i last post on diy projects kan. last night i went through some great websites showing tutorials on how to make boutonnieres. either from fresh flowers, those with feathers, flowers from felts. *melts* you don't have to limit your choice to only boutonnieres, these beauties can also be used as brooch or hair clips, sew it on your cushions or even to decorate your presents. among my favorites are as follows:

from floral showers (simple boutonniere from fresh flower)

and my favorite of all

this lovely silk flower from simply vintagegirl

bridesmaid can wear this simple yet sweet hair clip :)

of last weekend

last weekend, despite having fever with the complete package of sore throat, cough and flu i followed my family to kuala nerang, sending off my bil for his foundation studies. we traveled at night, agak membantu sebab siangnya panas. along the way to alor star, we stopped at few places just to eat. best kan, traveling in a very relax mode. rasa nak makan itu, berenti. next makan ini pulak, berenti. 

kesimpulannya, nak bagitau that we stopped by at kepala batas, but didn't go to kid's place for nasi daging herba. (kedai dia pun dah tutup time tu) but we had laksa ruyung at their pasar malam and nasi arab. amazingly nasi arab ni, makin malam makin ramai yang datang sampai beratur. 

and the price, seriously super duper cheap rasa sangat jauh beza harga & rasa makanan. mama said that orang sini, masak untuk jual, sama macam masak untuk makan sendiri. faham tak? rasanya sedap, macam kita masak kat rumah. compared to what we have here in kl, jual makanan masak pun macam nak tak nak. tapi harga mahal.

wedding: vendors

during akad nikah at home

my side at silveritage, ipoh

his side, at dewan jubli perak PUO ipoh

for those bride to be yang ada kat ipoh area, i would suggest for you to hire this friend of mine as your wedding planner or at least, take his pelamin. i must say, of all the bridal shops i went to kat ipoh, zaid is the best (so far). he got fresh new ideas of latest pelamin designs and trust me, it worth every single cents. just tell him your budgets, and he'll work on it insha Allah

with zaid, i told him i want something simple and modern. and just gave him the colors i want. not in detail but he managed to pull off these beautiful designs. seriously, ramai yang tanya during and after the wedding mana dapat pelamin ni. orang dewan pun asyik tanya, alhamdulillah saya dapat yang terbaik untuk kenduri ni.

zaid juga yang provide the RR dress for my reception. after a last minute disaster, thankfully ada this dress yang somehow fits me perfectly and ready to be taken.

as for the guestbook, i bought a simple book and pasted few things on it. simple as I always wanted

we made this welcome board from the balance of hantaran flowers. 

terpaksa buat welcome board as there was another wedding at the very same place.

sorry, i have nothing much to review about the wedding. just glad that everything is done now and dah sampai masa untuk start new and plan untuk masa depan seterusnya pula. for those yang sempat & sudi hadir to my humble wedding, terima kasih banyak-banyak sebab sudi datang jauh-jauh ke ipoh.
