apart from the mini drama we had this morning, i had fun today with my family. 

after waiting for quite a while to get one day where e.v.e.r.y.o.n.e is free, 

we finally had the chance to watch Lat the Musical

of all the scenes, 

saya suka part Lat & Apak dia. the john wayne tak nangis song,

 the part when Lat gave his Apak his first payment

the scenes, reminded me of my late father

and masa Awie menangis dalam scene Apak meninggal tu, terkesan ok

during the training, he didn't cry, he sang the song very well

but according to my sis, at the shows he really cried, tak nyanyi

dengan penuh stamina boleh berjalan & angkut bag berat

for the last time...

during the jb trip, we took the chance crossing over to singapore on saturday before the wedding.

malas nak drive so we took a cab from jb which costs us rm75. and come back to jb by train. yes, ktm train ada dari singapore at 10.30pm every day for sg$13 per pax. the ride took about 1hr plus sebab ada stop jap kat woodlands for passport clearance.

as we all know, ktm station tanjung pagar lepas ni akan pindah ke woodlands in july if i'm not mistaken. i don't think we'll go to singapore again anytime soon so this would be our final visit to ktm tanjung pagar. our first train ride to singapore was back in 2008 i guess. you can read more about the train station here. kiranya lepas ni if we take train to singapore, we'll stop at woodlands and ada bas yang akan bawa ke nearest mrt station.

mc of the day. meriah sangat opy's mc ni tau. entertaining tapi mungkin boleh kurangkan sikit pitching tu. notice the banner kat belakang tu? cantikness kan? okay tu belum siasat lagi siapa punya kerja. whoever it is, memang sangat lawa n i sangat suka

the food sangat sedap. and sangat banyak. what i liked most was the ayam masak merah.. lepas makan nasi minyak siap ada desert section with kuih muih melayu, buah-buahan, air longans, and this egg tofu. serious sedap but by then dah habis so i think 5 of us shared a plate. masa nak balik baru keluar lagi tofu nih.

king of the day. alhafeez berjalan seperti y.b melawat kawasan. cuma takde lambai-lambai je

toll is one of adat perkahwinan melayu johor. the groom will have to pay some amount of money (toll) to anyone yang tahan diorang sepanjang perjalanan ke pelamin where the bride is waiting. normally untuk main-main je la, dalam rm1 pun terima jugak.

siap ada negotiation. ingat lagi the mc said "ha.. ingat senang nak kahwin orang johor??"

i made some mustaches from felt for opy's pre-wed photoshoot but she didn't get the package. so, i brought some to her wedding. tapi disebabkan we all balik awal, we didn't get to pose with the mustaches. (gurl, eyin, et & nad, nanti nak buat lagi lah benda ni). i myself pun tak sempat try misai-misai opy itu. specs tu, i traced mine atas paper and gunting saje.

last minute project yang diselit-selit dalam busy tak busy. 

simple garland i made for uwais last saturday, inspired by aimie's banner for her baby boy.

mama uwais sent me aimie's link asking if i can make the garland from my felt supplies. 

she asked for baby blue & white, but i don't have any white felt so i used gray instead

so i googled around for garlands, and here are what i found at google image:

kononnya nak buat something like ben up there, tapi tak jumpa masa yang sesuai untuk jahit proper macam tu. so my sis suggested for me to just glue the letters using uhu. ribbon pun masukkan masa on the way ke rumah uwais.

simple je uwais sayang, but i hope you like it :) mintak ibu framekan tau

ladies kesayangan saya

last friday we had a small dinner of four before my link queen menjadi isteri orang

demi opy tersayang, we all meredah traffic jam from all over the world (slim river, shah alam & putrajaya) to klcc.  i'm sure you can imagine the traffic jam when it rains at kl right..? nak menangis je kat 'samad' tunnel tu

so everyone got stuck in the jam and we started our date a little late. but we still had fun, makan pun tak berapa makan sangat. sembang lebih, mostly bout p.b and married life. (kuliah advance for me and eyin hehe)

while waiting for tahirah, we all makan-makan dulu kat madam kwan and sat beside a japanese couple. tiba-tiba the lady came to us and asked something in english before erinji started talking in japanese. so bermula la episod 'mira-e' kat situ. she asked about us wearing scarf, why do we wear scarf, what's wrong with our hair that we had to wear scarf, and finally bout ourselves bla bla bla. before she left, she asked "are you richi?" okay, how to answer that?
