this morning on my way to work, i saw a father with his small son (tadika kot) on a motorcycle and they both were wearing helmets. i must say that it's something unusual for me. normally, it's either no helmets at all or just the parents or the kids wore the adult size helmets.
i think we're are not fully aware of the importance of wearing helmets. you're on a motorcycle, with no protection at all. no walls, no airbags, no nothing but one hard shell on your head. itu pun some of us rasa susah nak pakai. atau pakai semata-mata takut kan polis. of course, if it's meant to happen, pakai la kereta kebal pun accident memang akan jadi but if it happens, and you know you already did the right thing, i'm sure you won't feel as bad as if you didn't wear your helmet.
please wear helmet whenever you're on a bike no matter how near the place is,
please put on helmets for your kids. the right size, not the adult size.
if you love your kids, protect them.
