this is how my 'g' looks like

i'm sure you've all heard about the latest burger from mc donalds, the gcb burger. i was tempted by the advertisement (see how powerful ads are?) so off we went to mc donald to try out the new burger. the verdict? i must say, mine is just the same like opy's. the great, good, groodelicious is not actually that 'g'

 that (photo) is the gcb burger as pictured by mc donalds. tempting right? that picture made me rushed to the nearest outlet to get one for myself.  the top view of my gcb is still acceptable, it still looked delicious.

this is the front view of my gcb. ha ha jauh beza kan? not that great, gorgeous, groodelicious to me la. well ok, back to how it taste. i don't really like it, it's oily like super oily. i prefer mc chicken or chicken deluxe more.

finally i made something from the ikea fabric which i bought during last x-mas. i made myself a piece of external hard disc cover. :) not that neat though as this is my first try of making one. owh and the button, using the button kit i got from sus. and guna je lebih-lebih ribbon untuk buat lekat butang. sewing is fun, when u have the equipment and the barangs to sew. yeay! owh, that's my laptop yang belum berbukak plastic lagi. are you smiling boss?

poof..! and it's gone

my netbook decided to give up on me yesterday evening, so it just went dead. dead, just like that. so all my photos, my notes, some of my articles just went dead, with my netbook. with high hopes that it can still be recovered, we went to some computer shops to ask if they can do something about it. at least, get it on for a while so i can recover my documents in there. 

the guy changed the ram, connected the netbook to another monitor, press here and there, touched here and there but still, nothing happened. just a while light at the start button and that was the best that my netbook can do. 

so yes, everything is gone. takpe, rip you netbook. maybe i'm not suitable with netbooks.

i finally get to taste macarons. lambat kan, i know. quickly buy, quickly get in the car and nom nom nom. i only left 5 pieces for my dear sister at home. alhamdulillah she got to taste it too.. kesimpulannya? biasa je la macarons ni, not to say like it's sooo nice. maybe i was too hungry that i didn't enjoy it.

went to delicious cafe at midvalley yesterday for a quick date with the lovelies

that was when i managed to stop by at diva and purchase all the cuteness :) rasanya macam dah lama sangat tak ke midvalley. one utama lagi la tak payah cerita, i couldn't even remember the last time i went there. i guess i spent too much time at subang parade and empire shopping mall that i stopped going somewhere else. (who wouldn't love subang parade, it's cozy and hassle free)

 this is what my sis had, bolognese something something. i'm very bad at remembering what we ordered. each time macam tu.. :)

 this is what mr.f had, obviously it's a plate of steak. love the mashed potatoes

 pavlova for dessert. the only thing that i eat without complaining it's too much or the portion is too big. yummeh.

my business card holder

i saw this tutorial from weefolkart.com and decided to give it a try

i don't know how to sew that spider web flower whatever, so mine is minus the flowers. ha ha

super duper easy, you just need to key in your identity card number and press 'enter' and in few seconds, or few minutes when the traffic is high, you'll get your status. 

jadi, kes-kes macam faizal tahir bila dia tak dibenarkan keluar dari malaysia, kat klia dapat la dielakkan ya. malu sangat kan kalau kena banned macam tu, kat airport. so seluruh airport pun sekarang tau yang kamu tak bayar loan. :p

tutorial: how to wear oblong tie rack scarf

i'm sure ramai yang suka tie rack scarf tapi sebab scarf ni agak pendek so tak tau nak pakai macam mana.. i recently tried wearing one and fell in love with it. pendek memang pendek tapi boleh adjust macam mana nak pakai. so, ini tutorialnya. kalau tak faham sila la tanya dengan saya. i won't bite. abaikan rupa saya yang ala-ala semangat lebih itu. 

 1. put on your under scarf
2. followed by your tie rack oblong, one end shorted than another
3. hold the scarf by your ear, or above, where you want the fold to be at
4. fold/twist the scarf a bit and pull the shorter side towards your neck

 5. hold your hands at your neck (with the shorter end), while using your left hand pull the longer end to cover the other side. kalau nak panjangkan bahagian belakang untuk cover bahagian leher belakang, tarik or sangkut scarf tu ke belakang kepala sikit.
6. when you're done, pin the scarf. if you're confident, there's no need to pin it. it will stay there but i don't like to see the end hanging there so i pin it

this is the front view. boleh je nak kemas2 kan depan tu lagi. kalau nak tutup dada, then panjangkan sikit lagi the shorter end tu, play with the length sampai jumpa style yang berkenan di hati okay.

basically macam tu la saya pakai tierack scarf or other scarf yang pendek-pendek. any hesitation sila tanya ya, nak buat video nanti asyik nak tergelak je, so photos je yang mampu saya share kan. hope this can help you ladies.

the end of weekend

i had a super tiring but interesting weekend. drove off to j.b on friday after work with high hopes to cross over to singapore to go for shopping. but then tak jadi, stayed over at j.b the whole day and had time to snap photos for my tutorial on how to wear oblong tie rack scarf. snap snap here and there and i tell you it is not easy to take picture of my every single step. ha ha :)

i attended a friend's wedding at the zone j.b, and the wedding were a blast! sorry encik amir as i failed to snap your photo with the couple, i totally failed at slr. all pics went blur and shaky when i took them.

my sister just got back from iran last two weeks and brought me these things.. rugs mouse pad, kohl and the sweetest thing is rugs for lapik dulang hantaran :)

i myself haven't start with anything and yet she came out with the rugs, the theme, and what nots. so yeah now we got our theme already, and colors. which was my dream color ever since i was studying. oh no, bukan gatal nak kawin ya masa tu, it's just a color that i booked and stopped my sisters from using. ha ha

tutorial: how to add watermark to photos

watermark suka hati saya ditempek di sini using photoscape software which you can get for free here. 

download, install and run the software. you will get something like the image below. but first, you have to create your own watermark design la. i'm not that good at designing so i just use my header design. 

it has so many features, editor la, batch editor la, so many things that you can explore. penat nak cerita, so hari ni kita cerita pasal adding watermark je la dulu okay? :) so, once you are at the home page, go to 'editor' and click the button

you will come to this window. choose the folder with your desired photos you wish to add watermark and click click the photo

under 'home', you can do the basic editing at one shot. you can resize your photo, add frames, add round edges, filter it, or add bling-bling to your photo. basic simple editing, don't expect something like photoshop here ya.

to add watermark, click 'object' tab. basically here you can add objects la to your photo.

click on the photo icon, like the one i circled. and choose 'photo'. a small window will come out and you go click click find your watermark file and click. the image will be inserted into the photo.

 you can adjust the opacity of the watermark image here, set the place of where you want it to be. once you're done, just click 'ok'. nak resize the image, you just play with the arrows to get your desired size of watermark. 

once you're done, click 'save' on the bottom right. chose la to save, save as or save it somewhere else. 

and you're done..! :)

go and get your own photoscape, go mad editing, and blogging yaaaaa... :)
