i'm sure my fellow blogger friends here in malaysia or singapore are extremely aware of nuffnang, the online blog advertising community which allows their clients to post up the advert at our blog, and in return we got some earning from the adverts.
for those loyal nuffnangers who only suscribe to nuffnang adverts, they are called glitterati. and these glitteratis are given the advantage of promoting and posting their blog entry at the page called innit.
the main purpose is to attract readers to your blog, so whenever you posted a new entry, you ping it at innit and yes people will read your blog, provided that you got a catchy title and your entry is interesting. some blogger went over the limit by po sting super catchy title that does not match the real posting. in the name of attracting readers.
when you log in to innit, you'll see a list of postings with two buttons by the left side. you can either nang the post, or dang it. nang if you like, dang if you don't.. i always nang, never dang yet. the more nangs to have, to chance for your post to be in the top 10 most popular posts will be higher. in order to do that, you have to promote your post.
i'm a glitterati, and i post my entries to innit. and i do ask nuffnangers at innit to read my post and nang my entries. but recently it came to my mind after one of the blogger posted at the chatbox of he wants visits, not nangs. meaning to say, for nuffnangers to really visit the blog and read the entries, not just clicking the 'nang' button and that's it.
how to ensure that people really come and visit and not just clicking? by comments? but there are times when i visit, read the post but i don't have any comments. so what i did was, if the blog has a shout box i'll say hi just to let the owner knows that i did visit the page and not just clicking.

so true. when i 1st started innit, i was so desperate for nang. but actually we want visits, not nangs! beside chatbox, i actually try to leave comment at blogs so ppl will come over to my page as well. =P

betul kan... nang, dang or visit... kalau depa nak dang pun at least depa baca our entry. takkan tetiba nak nang or dang without read isi perut kat blog tu... me? always read b4 nang or dang...
kalau nak kena visit, kena pandai menarik hati la.
