How I spend my Chinese New Year Holiday

I didn't do much, spent all 4 days in Ipoh with my family.. Went to Kuala Kangsar for Laksa Pak Ngah on Sunday, made puddings on Monday, cook tom Yam on Tuesday & sleep most of the time...

Went out for lunch at Jusco on Tuesday since mom wanted to go to Guardian... Some shops were still closed but I still sempat grabbed myself a bottle of Hugo Boss XX.


Now, this is my weakness. When I want something, I can't wait...
I can't see any reason why I must wait...
And I'll regret it the moment I paid for it...

Same thing happened when I bought this perfume... I don't really need it, I tested HB XX when I went to Subang Parade earlier... Liked it, n told my colleague that I want HB XX for my birthday present even though i still have 3 more perfumes yang tak habis-habis since last year. I'm not the type of people who collects perfume as I'm not that rich... So you can see how I dont need the perfume?

But yeah, I'm the type yang tak tahu sabar when I want something. I can just wait for another 2 months, can wait for my birthday so I can get it... Why laaaa I'm like this?? Sis didn't know a thing so she couldn't be bothered of what I bought mase tu.. So I BOUGHT it with the vouchers...

Week full of makan-makan

This week is heaven~*

Every day we'll go out for lunch at various places (mind you, we got free lunch here at my company so going out for lunch is very rare occasion)..

Monday went to Seri Petaling for Arab food, Tuesday out for local food around Shah Alam, Wednesday out for Gulai Kawah, Thursday for Saba's birthday at Secret Recipe, Friday takda as we'll be on half day~*

No photo as I sat beside my CEO so a bit shy to camwhore...

For a moment, it was sooo nice & merry & happy... And on our way back to office somehow terlupe that we're actually in my CEO's car and we chatted like mad about the food n stuffs there...

My roasted chicken & cuppies?

All gOne thanks to my oven... Will cekik the salesman tomoro when I send the oven back to the shop... Skunk..

Ok before you bake anything, mesti ade dalam arahan tu suruh panaskan oven kan?
I did that, mase nak bakar ayam for dinner (after one whole day marinating)..
Dah panaskan, tapi not even 5 minutes that thing started to berasap n smelled like nak terbakar ok??
We were so panicked n quickly cabut plug and kipas2 the thing. Sis was like "What a cheap oven you bought niiii..???"
Mind you it was not cheap..

N the ayam, from Black Pepper Roasted Chick tros jadi Ayam Goreng Black Pepper, lucky sedappp!!

So, dah ayam bakar pun tak jadi, what more cuppies kan?

Did I do something wrong or what? Oven kene slowly heated or what?

No action on Angkasawan

PUTRAJAYA: No action will be taken against Angkasawan Datuk Dr Sheikh Muszaphar Shukor Sheikh Mustapha over allegations that he received money from giving a series of talks last year.

Science, Technology and Innovation Minister Datuk Dr Maximus Ongkili said although the ministry found he had contravened a few clauses in his contract, action could not be taken as there were certain “grey areas” in the contract.

When explaining a show-cause letter from the ministry, he said Dr Sheikh Muszaphar said his work at the ministry was not affected as he gave the talks after office hours and when he was overseas.

“He has provided an explanation to the queries in the letter including why he charged for the talks and we feel that it is acceptable. So there is no reason to take the matter any further,” he told reporters after launching the ministry’s logo yesterday.

Dr Ongkili said investigations also revealed that although Dr Sheikh Muszaphar was paid for the talks, the amount in no way amounted to over RM1mil. It was alleged that Dr Sheikh Muszaphar had pocketed over RM1.2mil.

Dr Maximus said a new contract would be ready by next month which would address the weaknesses in the existing contract. He also said Dr Sheikh Muszaphar had expressed his wish to continue working with the ministry.

Later, when met at the KL International Airport before his departure to Egypt for a humanitarian mission, Dr Sheikh Muszaphar said he would decide on whether to sign the new contract with the ministry after reading it on his return.

On Dr Maximus’ statement that he had breached the earlier contact, he said, it was due to a miscommunication.

Of course not he himself answering the e-mails & calls requesting for him to attend their function as speakers or panel member and quoting how much we have to pay him...

~ Go for kenduri at Felda (tagging along...) saturday morning & sunday
~ Buy ingredients to bake cuppies, and beli mixer
~ Bake cuppies :) (baru dapat recipe, so gonna try my new oven)
~ Roast chickinnn for tonight's dinner (ini sedang dalam proses marinating)
~ Meet kiddo (still on or not?)
~ Pegi Alamanda (not sure for what...)
~ To think really deep on buying a wristlet like picture

Seems like I found a new obsession this year -> Bags
Should i buy the bag, yes?

Singapore Shopping Outcome

One of the well maintained mosque there..

Remember earlier I made a wish list for my Singapore trip...

So this was my list BEFORE Singapore menjadi kenyataan:

~ New suit (oghang belanja muahaha)
~ New pants as I can't fit my current pants yg tergantung at my hips
~ Shirts (for now, so help me God pls prevent me from buying the unnecessaries)
~ Shoes
~ Canon Ixus 870 (image quality bad..)
~ Charles & Keith for Kak Ita
~ Handbag for Kiddo's hantaran
~ Kain for kenduri (lots of kenduri next year... can I secretly buy?)

And this is my list AFTER Singapore
~ No suit (not important, actually no nice suits as it's the end of sale already)
~ 3 new pants :)
~ 1 shirt, but so worthy because it's a lottt cheaper than G2000 here
~ Sony w170 (bought earlier, but found out dat it's cheaper in S'pore dang...
~ 4 pairs of Charles & Keith for me, none for Kak ita, i thought she canceled her order but sebenarnye die lupe (4 pairs = less than RM200.00)
~ no hanDbag for Kiddo, yg cantik all out of stock already :(
~ no kain, i stopped but diheret away from the kedai... but it's cheaper lahhhh!!

We went to night safari, which was nice but would be nicer if we reached there earlier like 6pm.. Because by 8.30 sampai then nak beratur lagi, pastu tunggu tram for like 1 hour n tram took about 40 minutes, by the time we finished our tour, live show pun dah habis so tak sempat jalan-jalan at the trail either as we need to wait for the ride back to town... Siqh~* Our SG$31 was not fully utilised...

What else, owh Singapore River Cruise yang terkena jugak... We didn't know that we can take one way tour n turun kat Merlion (which we did, and tak boleh naik balik.. Sabo je la) So, we wasted SG12... Hayoh.. Went to Hooters and we went Hoyeh!!

No matter what, I still love Singapore~* For jalan-jalan of course,yang lain tu, Shah ALam lg best kott.. :)

Azam tahun baru?
Mine is to bereskan whatever my last year's resolution...
Which was to save up more money (I always fail that..) to prepare myself for emergency in case I need to use money...

One of my last year's azam was to have fun, and I did...
I had lotsa fun, went to new places, did new things, learnt new skills, met new people, met long lost friends and a lot more...

Lot of events to look out for this year, piJa's engagement & wedding, kiddo's wedding, my sister's engagement & wedding... Owh gathering at Langkawi!! Tho i've had enough of Langkawi but the companies are so special this time...

I didn't go for the new year celebration at Marina, stood in front of the hotel but couldn't see anything but people having new year picnics... And fireworks sponsored by Little India's people.. :)
