traveling all the way from shah alam to bukit lanjan just for lunch meaning the food or the place must be real good for us to spend our time crawling in the jam.

expectations:
~ exclusive place. saba said macam fine dining but the casual part is because we sit in the open air. romantic sangat untuk berdating. wow~*
~ nice food. since the name is subak, i thought it's more to balinese cuisine. perut sangat lapar mintak diisi dari breakfast, so tahap excited untuk makan adalah sangat luar biasa

reality:
~ very limited choice of menu. we took almost 20 minutes to decide on what to eat. jauh-jauh datang finally i chosed char kuey tiow, saba chosed mamak mi and azmy settled for grilled chicken. we also ordered bruchetta and garden salad
~ service very very slow. despite us being the only customer there, it took them more than half an hour to send us the salad and drinks. yang lain tu jangan cakap la. tunggu sikit punya lama. then he'll come and ask whether he should bring the next meal. we said yes, and the food arrived 15 minutes later.
~ the place? a bit rundown. malam-malam mesti banyak nyamuk.
~ the food, not nice at all. seriously tak sedap

just imagine, being hungry, traveled so far, being disappointed with such food and service.
